Government restrictions rally planned for Moose Jaw Saturday afternoon

Moose Jaw Police say they are aware of a Freedom Rally planned in an open area of the city Saturday.

In a media release, the Moose Jaw Police Service says it recognizes the right to peaceful assembly and the responsibility of participants, in assemblies to comply with all laws, including the Public Health Order. Police say they will be in attendance at the gathering to promote community safety and the well-being of participants.

The Rally is reportedly to take place at Moose Jaw’s Sunningdale school, with organizers “demanding government respect and honor to the charter”.

There were similar rallies in Regina and Saskatoon late last year.
