Regina police arrest man who threatened family members with firearm

Police in Regina have charged a man after he allegedly threatened family members with what was described as a black BB hand gun.

Officers were called on Saturday at 9:16 a.m. to the 1000 block of Robinson Street for a weapons offence.

Regina police surrounded the residence where three individuals, two women and a man, exited the home and were taken into custody. A black BB hand gun was located inside the home.

While the two women were later released, the male suspect was transported to hospital and was treated for minor non-life threatening injuries. He also had an outstanding warrant and was later arrested.

No name or charges have been released at this time. This investigation is currently ongoing.
