Seven deaths, 336 new cases, 223 recoveries and 180 people in hospital.
Those are the numbers in the daily COVID-19 update being provided by the province Friday.
Four of the seven deaths come from the Regina zone. One was a person in their 60’s, two were in their 70’s and one was a person over the age of 80. 184 people in Saskatchewan have now died as a result of COVID-19.
The other three were a person over the age of 80 in the north-central region, a person over 80 from the southeast region and a person in their 30’s from the southeast region.
The new cases are located in the Far North West (20), Far North Central (4), Far North East (52), North West (46), North Central (41), North East (3), Saskatoon (57), Central West (6), Central East (9), Regina (56), South West (2), South Central (6) and South East (17) zones and 17 new cases have pending residence information.
Seventy-two previously reported cases with pending residence information have been assigned to the Far North West (5), Far North East (21), North West (20) and North Central (21), Central East (1), Saskatoon (2), Regina (1) and South East (1) zones.
The active case count now stands at 3,053 and the seven-day daily average is at 262.
