Regina man refusing to self-isolate given $2800 ticket

A 52-year old Regina man has been given a $2800 ticket for violating the public health order concerning COVID-19.

Regina police say the man had tested positive for COVID-19 and despite the fact that he knew he had done so and was to self-isolate as required under the current order, he did not do so,

The man was found at Albert and 13th Wednesday night and escorted back to his home, His name was not released.

This is the ninth ticket Regina Police have had to issue to someone who has gone against the order since the pandemic started in March.
