Suspicious moose tops RCMP’s top-10 list of strange 9-1-1 calls

9-1-1- operators can get some bizarre requests.  On Wednesday, Saskatchewan RCMP went to social media to give their top 10 most ridiculous calls and leading the way was someone who phoned in about a moose.

The caller said the animal had been standing in the same spot for two straight days and officers should come out to investigate.   Other interesting calls included someone asking for directions from Yorkton to Winnipeg, someone who was not from the area where the call was made saying he had gotten into town late and was looking for a good spot to eat and someone wanting to know if RCMP had their cat since it had not been seen for two days.
