36 residents of Regina nursing home have died from COVID-19

Parkside Extendicare says the province’s worst home-care outbreak has now taken 36 lives.

That figure is as of Monday.  There is no word if the deaths of two people announced Tuesday aged 80 plus from the Regina zone is included in that number or not.

There are no more active cases at the home in south Regina according to Extendicare.  While there are no active cases currently, there are three who are still in hospital. 122 residents remain at the home,

The outbreak at the home started in late November and resulted in more than 200 staff and residents coming down with the virus.
