Three people are facing several charges following an extensive investigation by the Regina Integrated Crime Reduction Team (I-CRT).
On Thursday, December 17th officers searched ten properties and five vehicles related to a firearms manufacturing investigation.
Several properties were searched in Fillmore, Lebret, Saskatchewan Beach, Lajord, Fines Drive in Regina, the 2100 block of Rae Street, 1100 block of Elliot Street, 1500 block of Bond Street, 1100 block of Rose Street, and the 1600 block of St. John Street.
The searches turned up equipment used to manufacture firearms, various firearm components, a complete manufactured firearm with full automatic capabilities, ammo, and various electronic devices. Approximately 50 cartons of illegal cigarettes and $4,500 in cash was also seized during the operation.
38-year-old Gregg Joshua Meyer of Fillmore, SK has bee charged with manufacturing and trafficking weapons, 2 counts of possession of a prohibited device, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition, possession for the purpose of weapons trafficking, 2 counts of careless storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon, 2 counts of possession of a weapon, 6 counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, and failure to comply with conditions of release
19-year-old Gauge Meyer of Regina has been charged with manufacturing and trafficking weapons.
36-year-old Tamara Eiler of Regina has also been charged with manufacturing and trafficking of weapons.
All three suspects made their first appearance in court on December 18th.
