High-risk offender arrested for being at large

Regina Police say that 43-year-old Jason Paul Thorn, who was the subject of a notice earlier this month, has been arrested for being unlawfully at large.

On Tuesday night, Police responded to a report of Thorn leaving his residence, breaching conditions of his release. Police performed a traffic stop on a taxi on Broad Street and 4th Avenue, where Thorn exited.

Police arrested him for being unlawfully at large, and he was taken into custody without incident.

43-year-old Jason Paul Thorn was remanded to the Provincial Corrections Centre on Wednesday.
