Saskatchewan now has a total of 122 deaths from people who tested positive for COVID-19 after four residents died according to Monday’s update from the government.
All four deaths were reported in the Regina zone. One person was in the 50-59 age group, one in the 60-69 age group, one in the 70-79 age group and one in the 80-and-up age group.
206 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported along with 92 recoveries; active cases are at 3,990.
The new cases are located in the Far North West (10), Far North East (13), North West (37), North Central (38), North East (12), Saskatoon (46), Central East (10), Regina (26), South West (1), South Central (6) and South East (4) zones. Three new cases have pending residence information.
131 people are in hospital with 111 people receiving inpatient care and 20 patients in intensive care.
The government said the total of vaccinations completed to December 20 is 1,285. These immunizations are part of the Regina pilot vaccination phase.
