The funds will be going towards building a new Pediatric Hemodialysis unit at the children’s hospital; the first of it’s kind in Saskatchewan. Units would also be built at four satellite locations in the province.

The unit is part of the Children’s Kidney Health Program that currently offers peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplants as treatment options to replace kidney function.
