It was a big two days for Saskatchewan, as people opened their wallets and gave generously to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation Radiothon.
Foundation CEO Brynn Boback-Lane announced on 620 CKRM a total of $641,157 raised during the two-day radiothon.
With your generosity, an amazing $641,157 has been raised over the last two days during the #PattisonKidsRadiothon….
The funds will be going towards building a new Pediatric Hemodialysis unit at the children’s hospital; the first of it’s kind in Saskatchewan. Units would also be built at four satellite locations in the province.
The unit is part of the Children’s Kidney Health Program that currently offers peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplants as treatment options to replace kidney function.
