Someone in Moose Jaw has been handed a fine of $2,800 after a large gathering was reported inside a home.

Moose Jaw Police say they received a complaint about the large gathering that had more than 15 people in it on Friday night. Upon arrival, police found the gathering far exceeded the 15 people limit as per a public health order that is in effect and issued the fine.

The name of the person receiving the fine and where exactly in the city the large gathering was held was not released.
