COVID-19 case at Regina’s Winston Knoll Collegiate; afternoon classes cancelled

Afternoon classes at Winston Knoll Collegiate in Regina are off after a positive case of COVID-19 was identified amongst a staff member at the school in the city’s northwest end.

The individual testing positive was last at the school Tuesday. The school says all families will be contacted with further information on classes by the end of the day Monday.

Students and staff who may have been in close contact with the affected individual will be contacted directly by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

This is the second Regina school to be affected by COVID-19. Students at Marion McVeety elementary school are being taught online until October 19 after a staff member tested positive earlier this week.
