Regina Police investigating death in north central

Regina Police have opened a death investigation into the discovery of a dead woman on Tuesday morning.

At about 3:45 AM, Police were called to the 1300 block of Angus Street for a report of a person not breathing, slumped on a doorstep.

EMS at the scene confirmed the person to be deceased.

Police began securing the area and searching for video in the area. The house in question is a vacant building.

The identity of the deceased is known to police and their next-of-kin have been notified. Her name is not being released by Regina Police at this time.

Police, along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are still investigating.
