After three straight days of single-digit increases in COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, the province says there are 13 new ones to report on Friday to go along with five more recoveries.
That puts the active case count going into the weekend at 66. 19 of the 66 or roughly 30 percent are in communal living settings.
Of the 13 new cases on Friday, seven are located in the east central zone, four are in Saskatoon with the Far North east and Regina each reporting one.
Two people are in hospital, but there is no one receiving intensive care at this time.
With drive-thru testing now available in both Regina and Saskatoon, the province says 1,683 tests were performed Thursday meaning the provincial number now stands at over 155,000.
