Frost and strong winds expected in southern SK this weekend

Saturday will be alright, but Environment Canada says to an expect an “abrupt transition to fall this Labour Day Weekend”

The weather office has issued a special weather statement as an Alberta clipper moves across the Prairies. It will bring wind as strong as 80 km/h with frost expected as well Tuesday morning.

While the high in Regina is expected to get close to 30 degrees on Saturday, it will cool off dramatically after that with a high of just 10 on Monday.

The temperature is to gradually be warmer as kids head back to school on Tuesday with a high next Thursday of 23.
