Ten new cases of COVID-19 in Sask.; three recoveries

The provincial government is reporting ten new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan as of Thursday.

Total reported cases are up to 1,634 with 36 considered active. Six of the new case are in Saskatoon, two are in the Central West zone and one is in each of the North Central and South Central zones.

All of Saskatoon’s current active cases and several of the active cases in the rest of the province are directly related to out-of-province travel.

There are three more recoveries for a total of 1,574 people that have recovered from the virus.

Two people are in hospital with one person receiving inpatient care in Saskatoon and one person in intensive care in Saskatoon.
